The Peaceful Kitchen Vegan Sunburger Recipe

Veggie Sunburger Recipe

This is the sunburger recipe used in most of The Peaceful Kitchen recipes!  I have received many requests for this recipe and I know it is a central recipe for readers so I have made it available for you.  Simple, delicious light and very versatile veggie burger.  Delicious light veggie burger that can be used in any recipe calling for chicken.

Sunburger Recipe

Makes 20 sunburgers

6 c. water
1 Tb. parsley
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. marjoram
1/4 c. dried minced onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. nutritional yeast
2 tsp. light miso
1/4 tsp. celery powder
1/3 c. tamari or soy sauce
1/2 c. sunflower seeds
6 c. oatmeal

Bring water and spices to a boil, add oats and sunflower seeds and stir until thickened.  Let cool and form into patties.  Preheat oven to 350 and bake 10-15 minutes each side.
