A Peaceful Thanksgiving

Pumpkin Pie

Who Says you can't have dessert first? This is a beautiful slice of pumpkin pie, the recipe was created this morning. It is the most delicious pumpkin pie!! I have tested several recipes but this one turned out perfect!

Stay Tuned for Chocolate Mousse pie, pecan pie, Caramel Apple pie and more.....This recipe will be featured in the Thanksgiving menu & Recipe collection. This collection will be available for purchase on Monday.

Tempeh Sausage Stuffing

I made fresh 100% whole wheat bread the night before. I cut the loaf of bread into cubes and left them on a cookie sheet overnight.

The next day I broiled the bread for about 5 minutes until crispy. Then I left it until I was ready to make dinner. This is something I would only do for Thanksgiving it is time consuming but so worth it if you want a healthy stuffing!

If you want something less involved the Quinoa Stuffing recipe is amazing!

Scalloped Potatoes

My kids were thrilled with these potatoes. They have a wonderful flavor and a few 'secret' ingredients that give them that special flavor.

Sw
eet Potato Casserole

Okay, I don't mean to toot my own horn but these were DIVINE!!! This casserole was so sweet, and it has a VERY creamy consistency! The topping has a hint of cinnamon. If you don't like pecans you can substitute another nut or leave them out. This casserole is extremely low fat in comparison to most sweet potato casseroles and I must say you don't lose ANY flavor at all!!

Thanksgiving Corn in Ranch Sauce

This is a special corn recipe for Thanksgiving. It has a special ranch dressing sauce to make it extra special for special occasions. My kids really loved this corn and I just had to have an extra helping. YUM!!

Ranch Dressing

This is a beautiful, creamy dairy-free ranch dressing! We had this dressing with a vegetable tray for dinner. My kids are really picky about ranch dressing, they are used to the dairy based dressing Grandma gives them so it means a lot that they loved it.
