Vegan Gluten Free Fudgy Brownie Recipe
I took a photo of the final recipe, my husband said this was the absolute BEST of the three brownie recipes I created so I think you will enjoy it. I must warn you, this is a FUDGY brownie so if you are a fan of cakey brownies this probably isn't the best recipe for you. However I do have a recipe just for those who like cakey brownies so I haven't left you out. Click Here: Gluten Free Cakey Brownie Recipe
Fudgy Gluten Free Vegan Brownies
DELICIOUS! Perfect fudgy brownies.
***Note: You can certainly leave out the chocolate chips to lower the fat content if desired.
***For those of you who are not gluten free: You can use oat flour or regular whole wheat pastry flour in these brownies and they should turn out delicious!
*** Very Important: Brownies will be VERY fudgy when they come out of the oven. They will firm up as they cool. If you don't mind the doughy, fudgy consistency you can serve them hot, but if you want them to firm up you will need to let them cool off before serving.
Thank you so much for your participation, I hope you enjoy the brownies!!!

Yay! Thanks for posting the recipe! :) I think I'm going to try it sometime soon...though I'm not gluten-free, so I don't have a lot of the flours. I can make brown rice flour in my VitaMix and use oat flour... and I don't have brown rice syrup, so I may try to sub in stevia baking blend.. if it turns out yucky, it'll be because I totally changed it, but I hope it works :)
leafynotbeefy- Oat flour is a perfect sub for the gluten free flours so that should work fine. The brown rice syrup is used to create that fudginess with the crispy top so if you substitute that you may not get the results you want. Maple syrup may work but may be a little too runny.
I've done that several times...created a meal from a little of this and that, not written it down, and everyone loved it!

Aah, I'm late! Thank you for the recipe. I tend to just throw together things too, and never go off of exact recipes. It's fun that way! Baking is a little different though;)
Stopping in from vB to say hello:)

I'm totally making those! I love vegan anything and this looks amazing! You're so talented! Stopping by from VB!
Tandi - are you kidding me with fudgy, chocolately, VEGAN brownies?!!??! I bought brown rice syrup, but haven't used it yet...maybe this will be the recipe that I use to crack that bottle open!!! However, what is the shoghorum (sp?) flour? I haven't heard of that before... Do you buy that at a health food store? Or can you pick it up at the regular grocery?
Now following you - can't wait for more recipes and ideas!
Visiting from VB - have a great week!

Carla- The brownies can easily be made with oat flour or regular whole wheat pastry flour if you don't need to be gluten free. If you do, sorghum flour can be found at health food stores like whole foods.
